July 14, 1789 the revolting French population stormed the Bastille in Paris touching off a quick civil war culminating with the rapid surrender and ultimate ouster of the French aristocracy. Thus the beginning of the modern French government. A government of, by, and for the people. Tonight we celebrate all things French, music, dancing, surrender, and revolting peasants. Off with your heads!
Those of you who have been to Paul's absinthe parties know that we always have a chanteuse, a singer or pianist of virtuosity, artistry, and wit. For this event we are pulling out all the stops. We are proud to announce an intimate performance by Amanda Palmer. If you are a Dresden Dolls fan, as we are, you will be thrilled to see Amanda play solo during Fete la Boum.
The theater only holds sixty people so get your tickets now. The party goes all night but Amanda only plays twice. Early show 10:30 Late show 11:30.
